Add Equipment ID Dialog

The following dialog is launched when you select the either the Add Equipment ID or the Add/Place Equipment option from the ID Manager.

Add Panel

A panel is generally the source of a cable from a field device, such as a motor. When adding a panel, select a voltage level is associated with the panel. The Panel Manager displays where you can specify a name for the panel as well as add additional slots if necessary.

Add other equipment

This option adds a single equipment ID to the ID Manager with no voltage associated with the ID. The Voltage Level is disabled when this option is selected. When you select the option and click OK, the following dialog displays where you can specify a name for the new ID.

Type in a value for the Equipment ID and click OK to add it to the ID Manager.

Voltage Level

This option is available only when adding a Panel. Select a voltage level from the drop down list to associate the voltage level with the new panel.

Select which type of ID to add and select a voltage level to assign to it. Click OK to add the new ID to the ID Manager.
